There’s always trouble brewing in CJ Gardner-Johnson’s neck of the woods. A short while ago, the star DB picked a beef against his former team for trading him away soon after winning the Super Bowl. However, his latest itch might land him in serious trouble with the league if they find any involvement.
CJGJ’s baby mama, Summer Bunni, famous for her sultry Instagram content, accused the former Saints, Lions, Eagles, and current Texans defender of allegedly putting out a hit on Giants’ young receiver Malik Nabers.
An unassuming video of a conversation between Summer and Gardner-Johnson found its way on X, where it was heard—the keyword is heard—by loads of people. Summer went off against CJGJ for being unfaithful and hiring Z to target Nabers during the Eagles-Giants game.
A collage of DMs, scattered around on the screen, masked the back-and-forth between Summer and Gardner-Johnson, who could only mutter words in return.

If this video reaches the league and prompts an investigation, CJGJ could be in serious trouble. However, there’s no proof whether the voice really belongs to Gardner-Johnson or Summer. The situation is similar to Schrödinger’s cat, where both possibilities can be true or false simultaneously. Well, that’s for the NFL to find out.
CJ Gardner-Johnson shared his unadulterated thoughts on being traded to the Texans
Gardner-Johnson does not boast a great social media track record. The 27-year-old lost his wits after the Eagles traded him to the Texans, a few weeks after he shamed Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl victory parade.

It was chaos. Fans bantered that the Eagles would win another Super Bowl without the mercurial DB while he toils in mediocrity in Houston. The remark riled him up so much that he snapped at the fan.
[The Eagles] probably won’t see [a Super Bowl win] without me. [What the f***] are you talking about? You saw what happened when I left. I’m popping now. [What the f***] are you talking about? I’m glad I’m in Texas. They say everything is better in Texas.
CJ Gardner-Johnson said
It’s admirable that he defended his new club, but it’s a tad childish to talk trash about his former home that gave him the fame he proudly boasts about whenever the chance arises.
He set his sights on another ring to add to his jewelry, and he wants to do that with the Texans.
People say, ‘He’s a hazard, he’s this, he’s that.’ I’ve never been no hazard, bro. They got no real issues with me. That black ball ain’t going to work on me, because I got me a ring. I got me one. I got three more championships in me. I’m probably going to win the next three. I’m going to get myself another Super Bowl this year. Just watch.
CJGJ told Click2Houston
Unfortunately, betting gurus in Vegas don’t listen to a player’s whims. They cover every base before publishing the latest odds for teams to win the Super Bowl. CJGJ won’t be pleased to hear that the Eagles are +650 odds (best odds) to win Super Bowl 60 in 2026, while the Texans are +6000.
The Philadelphia Eagles are still the current favorites to win Super Bowl LX at 6.5-1.

He should take a breath and focus on being the best version of himself on the field for the Texans. 59 tackles, 12 pass deflections, and 6 INTs were enough to help the Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance. A similar season from Gardner-Johnson could be enough to help the Texans’ defense mount a Super Bowl run.
