CM Punk has been in a lot of factions, from The Straight Edge Society to The New Nexus. In his second run with WWE, he is flying solo and will have his second official match at SummerSlam against Drew McIntyre. The Best in the World talked about the possibility of leading a new faction in the future at the Stamford-based company.
While speaking in the Ringside Collectibles interview, CM Punk stated that he didn’t see anything like that happening in the near future. However, The Best in the World also didn’t completely reject the idea and maintained a never-say-never approach. He felt that this was the best roster from a creative point of view he had ever seen.
In conclusion, Punk was open to the idea that someone came up with a brilliant plan for him to lead a faction with the given superstars. He made a bold claim about the Shield, stating that he was originally going to lead them. After that, the storyline was supposed to involve a feud with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose until they broke apart. However, the story turned out to be completely different.
Creatively speaking, this is the most fruitful, creative locker room that I think I've ever been in. So somebody someday could have a brilliant idea that's something that I have blinders on and can't see, and I would be receptive to any of the ideas as long as they're good.CM Punk via Ringside Collectibles
Currently, the 45-year-old veteran is embroiled in a heated rivalry with Drew McIntyre. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that since both stars were ready to fight, they should do it at SummerSlam. On the latest episode of Raw, it was announced that Seth Rollins would be the referee for that match. Without a doubt, chaos will ensue when the three superstars meet in the ring.
CM Punk admitted that he would love to make out with his wife, AJ Lee, on TV again
The Second City Saint opened up about when fans might see him in WWE again. However, they are also waiting for his wife, AJ Lee, to return to the Stamford-based company. The Second City Saint expressed his own opinion about when fans might see her in WWE again.
In the same interview, the 45-year-old veteran clarified that it was not his decision to make. He revealed that it was up to her and the appropriate parties, and didn’t want to be a part of it. However, Punk humorously confessed that he wanted to make out with her again on WWE TV. Currently, Lee is out of the media spotlight and is focusing on her career as a writer.
I'm the wrong guy to ask about that. I know there's a lot out there about that. But I'm certainly not pushing her to do anything. I think she knows that there's options, I think she sees how happy I am and how things are different. Selfishly, yes. Some fans even predicted that she might appear to help her husband in his match against McIntyre at SummerSlam. However, it looks like she won’t be coming back for a long time. It will be interesting to see who emerges as the winner after the match at the biggest event of the summer.
