“The grief that we carry is the price we pay for unconditional love,” said a crestfallen CM Punk in his Instagram post informing his followers that his beloved pet, Larry, had passed away. While he didn’t explicitly mention the day of his passing, there’s speculation on the internet that the tragedy must’ve occurred before Survivor Series on Saturday. Why is that so?
An account on X pointed out how Punk wore a jacket with “Larry’s Dad” written on it while making his entrance for the WarGames match. If one pays closer attention to it, the World Heavyweight Champion took an extra moment clutching on the writing. It could be a case of either Punk knowing that Larry didn’t have much time left or him already kicking the bucket by that weekend itself.
Circling back to Punk’s Instagram post, he had a lot to say. ‘The Best in the World’ noted that he and his wife, AJ Lee, rescued Larry from Paws Chicago in February 2015. CM Punk credited his little boy for changing his and April’s life completely and said that he could never find the exact words to describe how much the wrestling couple loved Larry.
I had a feeling something was off about this moment, but didn't make too much of it. Punk clutching "Larry's Dad" on his jacket.

Maaan. RIP Larry. 😔🐾 https://t.co/XWeEx8wnmg pic.twitter.com/YBsHBhq1ph
Even though the 47-year-old posted a bunch of pictures featuring Larry, Punk admitted that nothing of that sort would do him justice. Punk said it’s a privilege to be heartbroken and devastated for the bond he and Lee shared with their beloved dog. Declaring their boy is at rest, leaving the house eerily quiet, the jingle of his necklace and the tip-taps of his feet are still palpable, added ‘The Second City Saint’.

At last, CM Punk and AJ Lee, though with a heavy heart, said they’ll always be near to one another until they see Larry again. WWE and its superstars have also extended their condolences to mourn Larry’s sudden demise. Names like Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Jade Cargill, the erstwhile Cora Jade, etc., have all poured in their wishes for the late Larry the Dog.
Bron Breakker emerged as CM Punk’s next challenger on Raw
CM Punk wasn’t there on this week’s Raw after WWE announced that the ‘Best in the World’ was advised against in-ring competition after going through the brutality of the men’s WarGames match over the weekend. The former AEW star got ambushed by a mystery man covered in a black hoodie only to be viciously speared by Bron Breakker. The latter hooked Punk’s leg to get the three count.

As a result of that ending, Breakker is now entitled to a world title shot against Punk. Paul Heyman had a conversation with GM Adam Pearce, and he secured an opportunity of a lifetime for his protégé. In the main event of the first Raw episode of the new year, ‘The Second City Saint’ will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against ‘The Unpredictable Badass’ live on Netflix.
This is so good because Bron Breakker feels like Bron Breakker. Ain’t no one else speaking like that.

Breakker blasted CM Punk after Heyman’s groundbreaking announcement on Raw this Monday. The second-generation Steiner called the real-life Philip Brooks a “soft a** bit*h” for how easy it was to pin his shoulders in the middle of that ring inside the WarGames structure.
Breakker vowed to ruin Punk’s life and career in about a month’s time when they’ll collide on Raw. The fans firmly believe that the 28-year-old is ready to hold the keys to the kingdom for WWE. It’d be interesting to see if the company would pull the trigger on Breakker this early, which the fanbase is vocally clamoring for.
