The latest addition to CM Punk‘s body tattoos is the paw prints of his beloved pet dog Larry, who sadly passed away last year. ‘The Best in the World’ was spotted with that imprint while wrestling “Big” Bronson Reed at a WWE live event in Glasgow.
After getting past the Vision member, Punk affirmed that the road to WrestleMania would go through him. He gently tapped on Larry’s paw prints inked on his chest as an ode to the little creature that he and his wife, AJ Lee, rescued from Paws Chicago in 2015.
Larry the dog spent over a decade of his life under the same roof as Punk and Lee, who were proud parents to their pet. Despite such a heartbreak, the ‘Second City Saint’ didn’t take any personal time off from WWE and has since continued making regular on-screen appearances for the company.

The 47-year-old is coming off an incredible title defense against Bron Breakker. The latter unsuccessfully challenged the Chicago-born wrestler for the World Heavyweight Championship on the first Raw of 2026. The Vision tried to derail CM Punk’s stay on top, but the faction got neutralized by the trio of Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Penta.
A week prior to their match, Punk told Breakker to his face that one day someone would take the world title off his shoulders, and it’s not going to be Breakker. The former AEW star could brag about overcoming the Steiner descendant for the time being.
However, knowing the unpredictable badass that Breakker claims he is, the 28-year-old would definitely be gunning to get his lick back on the veteran wrestler.
The former NXT Champion pinned Punk inside WarGames at Survivor Series after a black hooded figure, who was ultimately revealed as Austin Theory, clobbered the ‘Straight Edge Superstar’. The latter hasn’t had the opportunity to face Theory one-on-one just yet, but it might end up happening sooner or later.
Drew McIntyre trolls CM Punk over recent Kevin Nash comments
It’s hard not to talk about CM Punk when he’s on the screen. ‘The Voice of the Voiceless’ recently faced criticism for wrestling in a T-shirt during the main event of the 12/22 edition of Raw. Punk joined forces with Rey Mysterio, who got pinned by Austin Theory in a tag team match also comprising Bronson Reed.

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash took offense to The Straight Edge Superstar’s attire by saying it wasn’t a good look for the world champion of WWE. Punk would subtly troll Nash during a live event by picking up from where he left off on Raw. He took his tank top off just to reveal another one that he was wearing underneath. The fans thought it was a brilliant response from the reigning World Heavyweight Champion.
CM Punk, however, claimed while speaking to Sam Roberts that what he did was nothing deeper than making his opponent for the night chuckle. ‘The Cookie Master’ jibed at some netizens for considering it anything more than him having fun at a non-televised WWE show, which Punk said he often likes doing.
It appears like one of CM Punk’s most fierce rivals, Drew McIntyre, has fired his shot. ‘The Scottish Psychopath’ posted a picture of himself on X, holding his newly won Undisputed WWE title. “No t-shirt needed. This is what a real Champion looks like,” said the 40-year-old from Ayr. It was clearly a jibe at ‘The Second City Saint’, who, as noted above, was called out by Nash for not removing his T-shirt on Raw.

Meanwhile, McIntyre is implying that he doesn’t need any of that stuff while posing as the real world champion. Punk and McIntyre produced the WWE feud of the year in 2024 and haven’t since crossed paths. Even though it might not happen anytime soon, as both are on separate brands, their holding the respective world titles of their respective brands is being hailed as a well-deserved feat.
