CM Punk has had a successful few days, notably thwarting Drew McIntyre‘s title shot yet again, this time in McIntyre’s home country. The Best in the World enjoyed the aftermath of the event during the post-show press conference, as he brought doughnuts to eat. However, The Best in the World didn’t stop there; he also entertained fans with some hilarious posts on social media.
The veteran took to Instagram and shared a picture of former U.S. President George W. Bush being informed of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. However, he made a hilarious reference to an incident that happened in his past while writing a caption: “Punk is here… and he has pastries.” Obviously, this was a callback to him eating muffins after AEW PPV, All Out, two years ago and then engaging in a backstage brawl with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.

Along with that, CM Punk also shared a picture with WWE Women’s Champion Bayley, who celebrated her birthday after retaining her title against Piper Niven. He didn’t forget to mock Drew McIntyre in his miserable situation, though, responding to the meme the Scottish Warrior posted a few months ago. After Punk suffered a tricep injury, McIntyre shared a meme depicting a peace sign beside a grave.
The Second City Saint returned the favor by sharing a meme showing a peace sign around the grave. During the press conference, he clarified that he would miss the upcoming Raw to undergo medical treatment. Meanwhile, after suffering a heartbreaking loss in Scotland, the WWE Universe is eager to know what’s going through McIntyre’s mind.
Triple H made a hilarious comment about CM Punk’s habit of eating pastries in the post-show press conference
After Clash at the Castle PLE finished, Triple H held a post-show press conference in which he addressed all the matches. While discussing the main event and The Second City Saint, he had some hilarious things to say about him. Hunter expressed how delighted he was to have him back in WWE.

The 14-time world champion expressed how angry and determined he was to punish Drew, mentioning that he flew a long way just to do so. He held the amount of sugar he consumed responsible for his anger problems. Hunter also noted that while pastries weren’t good for him, he would still eat them, which ultimately troubled his psyche.
Let's talk about CM Punk for a second. It's a long way to fly just to be an angry man. And I think it might have something to do with his sugar intake. He's always eating doughnuts or muffins or something that doesn't seem to be good for him and I think it messes with his psyche.Triple H on CM Punk in the press conference

Triple H opened up about how they didn’t always see eye-to-eye but matured with time. Interestingly, he didn’t say anything about the controversial finish, leaving the door open for a possible new storyline for McIntyre. Meanwhile, Punk revealed that he would get cleared to wrestle again very soon.
