After emerging victorious at Bad Blood, CM Punk kicked off the latest episode of Raw. The Straight Edge Superstar, who was visibly banged up, addressed the crowd. Punk explained how hurt he was following his brutal Hell in a Cell encounter on Saturday. Moments later, he revealed that he would be returning home to see his wife before thanking the fans. Following Punk’s promo, Seth Rollins‘ music hit as the former Universal Champion emerged from behind.
Rollins made his way out and faced off momentarily with Punk. The Architect then cut his own promo inside the ring. Seth said that he hoped The Second City Saint got well soon so that he could return early. However, the former Shield member added that the reason he wanted Punk back soon was so he could send him into retirement.
By the looks of it, WWE is continuing to tease a potential feud between both stars. Despite the constant teases, it won’t be happening anytime soon. CM Punk hinted at taking significant undisclosed time off during his segment on Raw. Meanwhile, Rollins is currently focused on exacting revenge on Bronson Reed after returning on last week’s Raw.

At the moment, the most likely destination for the much-anticipated bout between Punk and Rollins is WrestleMania 41. For those unversed, this was the initial plan for this year’s Show of Shows. However, the former AEW star’s injury at the Royal Rumble meant that fans had to wait longer for the ‘dream’ match.
Since then, the duo has had a few interactions on television. Most notably, when Seth Rollins inadvertently cost his archnemesis his first match against Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how this rivalry plays out once Punk returns to WWE programming.
Seth Rollins finally addresses Cody Rhodes’ alliance with Roman Reigns on Raw
When Cody Rhodes chose to join forces with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood, many were curious as to how Seth Rollins felt about it. After all, the latter put his body through pain to help Cody win the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania.
After mocking CM Punk, Rollins briefly spoke about the events that transpired at Bad Blood. The Visionary took his glasses down while reflecting on Rhodes teaming with Reigns. However, the former World Heavyweight Champion indicated that he would broach the subject at a later date.
Rollins claimed that he had ‘bigger’ things to worry about and then sent a message to Bronson Reed. Similar to Kevin Owens, The Architect has most likely not taken too kindly to his friend allying with the enemy. Having said that, only time will tell when the 39-year-old finally confronts Rhodes about his recent decisions.
