Just six days before Clash in Paris, all hell broke loose on Raw. In the main event, LA Knight took on Bron Breakker. The fight had already begun backstage and spilled over to the ring in due time. Deep into their hard-hitting affair, Seth Rollins made his way out and did enough to distract ‘The Megastar’. It resulted in Breakker defeating Knight via pinfall.

As both members of The Vision launched a 2-on-1 assault on Knight, Jey Uso arrived to even the odds for the erstwhile Eli Drake. Despite offering commendable resistance to Rollins and Breakker, the ‘Master of Yeet’ succumbed to the numbers game after ‘The Visionary’ delivered a pedigree to him. As Uso was now getting beaten up, CM Punk‘s arrival popped the rabid fans in Birmingham.

The English folks were serenading the Best in the World’s ‘Cult of Personality’ theme song as he was throwing haymakers first at Breakker and then at The Vision’s head honcho, Rollins. ‘The Unpredictable Badass’ ultimately pulled the reigning world champion out of harm’s way, even though the damage was done.

Punk saw both Knight and Uso lying in the ring, but he decided to shun ‘The Megastar’ and reached out for ‘The Yeet Man’ instead. ‘The Second City Saint’ leaped over a grounded Knight but didn’t step over him. However, that felt like an insult to ‘The Megastar’ and he was livid about it. Punk and Knight started shoving each other, with Uso playing peacemaker, but to no avail.

‘The Defiant One’ ran into a superkick from Uso after escaping a GTS attempt from Punk. Shortly after that, the former ‘Right Hand Man’ of Roman Reigns shockingly super-kicked his good friend Punk to establish it’s going to be every man for himself this weekend at Clash in Paris.

CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso compelled to make their marks against Seth Rollins

The upcoming Fatal 4-Way clash featuring Seth Rollins defending his World Heavyweight title against CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso will pretty much shape the future of the main event scene on Raw moving forward. The margins are fine, and there’s absolutely no room for error for either of the men heading to Paris on Saturday.

As for Punk, he’s indignant over being cashed in by ‘The Architect’ at SummerSlam in what was the ruse of the century. Knight, on the other hand, is hellbent on capturing his first world title in WWE after having proven his worth for over two years now. As of late, he’s been particularly at odds with ‘The Best in the World’, as Knight believes the 46-year-old cost him the world title match against Rollins a few weeks ago on Raw.

Moreover, the former Max Dupri said during a backstage interview with Jackie Redmond that Punk put him through a table at ringside on purpose last Monday. Last but not least, ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso also wants to regain the top prize on the red brand that he first won off Gunther at WrestleMania 41.

Could LA Knight steal the thunder over Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Jey Uso at Clash in Paris?

As noted above, Jey Uso stood tall to close out Raw in Birmingham. Taking some basic wrestling logic into account, he might not be a heavy favorite at Clash in Paris anymore after that kind of an outing. That would leave CM Punk and LA Knight vying for glory against Seth Rollins. Even though the champions do seem like they’re at a disadvantage in multi-person settings, Rollins is a different case.

He has his henchmen by his side, who may turn the tide in his favor. It’d be interesting to see if The Visionary’s current title reign has an expiry date written on it for this Saturday or if he will overcome the odds to extend it. Whereas an upset win from Knight could do wonders for his future in WWE.

He’s the only one in that match who hasn’t actually tasted what it feels like to be a world champion in WWE. The fans would love to see Triple H and his creative team pull the trigger on ‘The Defiant One’. Knight was agonizingly close to winning this year’s Money in the Bank contract, but Rollins nailed it.
