CM Punk walked out of WWE in early 2014. By this time, he already had a lot of history with The Shield. Shortly after he left, fans witnessed Roman Reigns being pushed to the level of a main-event talent. By the time the Second City Saint returned to the company, the 39-year-old was no longer just a member of a faction. Rather, he was now the face of the company.
After the show went off the air, the babyface team (barring Roman Reigns) sat for the Survivor Series: WarGames post-show press conference. A journalist asked Punk about his thoughts on the OTC’s meteoric rise within the company when he was gone. Not changing his expression at all, the Best in the World slowly moved towards the mic. He said, “No comment,” and backed up once again.
Heading into the match, there were always a lot of doubts about how this unlikely alliance between these two superstars was going to exist. Make no mistake about it: these two had their fair share of disagreements. At one point, when Reigns was about to enter the match, Punk pushed him aside and stepped out of the steel cage himself. Regardless, they still got the job done and beat the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline.
What is even more interesting is how things will play out between the two from here. Punk had already made it clear on the latest episode of SmackDown that Paul Heyman would owe him a favor for his participation in the bout. The 46-year-old was not afraid to remind the Wiseman of this fact once again after the match ended.
CM Punk visibly p*sses off Bronson Reed before the War Games match even begins
The Straight Edge superstar has often been called out for being a problematic figure backstage. He has surely had his fair share of beef with other members of the locker room. These actions have even led to him being fired from AEW. In classic CM Punk fashion, the Voice of the Voiceless may just have annoyed another talent at Survivor Series.
The babyfaces entered the main event of WarGames after the heels had already made their entrances and been locked in the steel cage. CM Punk came out to join his team and decided to taunt his opponents before stepping into his own cage.

Punk walked towards his rivals’ cage, shoved his hand through the bars, and right onto the face of Bronson Reed. Although the other members of the heel team also reacted to this, the Australian seemingly looked legitimately annoyed at this unexpected gesture.
