Since joining WWE, CM Punk has developed a love-hate relationship with his wrestling daughters, Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade. The latter two NXT stars have insulted and mocked Punk on multiple occasions over the past year or so. Having said that, The Second City Saint recently shared a snap of an early birthday message sent by Perez and Jade.
Punk took to his Instagram stories and revealed a paper napkin gifted by the pair. Written on the napkin are hilarious one-liners and drawings, some of which are references to the Chicagoan’s wrestling career. Most notably, a quote from his rant during the infamous All Out 2022 press conference. Further, Jade and Perez joked that their wrestling father was “100 years old.” Punk hilariously refuted the claims in his story.
During his recent visit to NXT, Roxanne Perez interrupted The Straight Edge Superstar’s announcement. The Women’s Champion took a brutal jab at Punk, stating that she wished she was a Drew McIntyre fan instead. Moreover, the 22-year-old star said that she had always preferred his wife, AJ Lee while growing up.
Meanwhile, Cora Jade had a heartwarming backstage interaction with Punk following her return at last year’s Deadline PLE. However, she suffered another injury a month later, which has kept her sidelined from in-ring action. Given the former WWE Champion’s willingness to help out younger stars, there is a high possibility of him working alongside his wrestling daughters in some capacity in the future.
CM Punk promises to BLEED in the upcoming Hell in a Cell match against Drew McIntyre
At Bad Blood, a year-long rivalry will finally culminate inside Hell in a Cell. CM Punk will take on Drew McIntyre in the third match of their trilogy. On this week’s Raw, Punk explained why he accepted a fight inside the demonic structure.
The Chicagoan revealed that his wife and sister told him not to compete in this match. However, the devil inside Punk has propelled him to end this feud at Bad Blood. Further, The Second City Saint claimed that he was ready for the match to be the end of his career.
Punk emphasized that he would make McIntyre bleed, vowing to take the latter down with him to “hell.” The expectations for this match have been set high by this promo. Therefore, fans are hoping that the former WWE Champion delivers on his promise to shed blood inside Hell in a Cell.
