Hey Zendaya, it's Coco. I just want to say thank you so much for the shoutout, it was the best way to start my morning. I'm such a fan and you're such a huge inspiration for me. I can't wait to see Challengers. I'm super excited. I loved the looks you have been serving. Maybe one day we can meet up and hopefully maybe we can get a head in.

Back in Stuttgart, the reigning US Open champ now has to play the waiting game to know her next opponent. She will take on the winner from the clash between fifth-seeded Qinwen Zheng and Marta Kostyuk. Zheng defeated Sorana Cirstea in straight-sets while Kostyuk overpowered Laura Siegemund in three close sets.

Gauff’s win over Vickery sees her qualify for the quarter-finals in Stuttgart for the first time. In her debut appearance, she suffered a defeat in the first round. Gauff then suffered a second-round exit in the 2023 edition.
