Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns joined forces at Bad Blood to take down the common enemy, The Bloodline. It was an unholy union of former longtime rivals that was quite shocking for many. Recently, The American Nightmare disclosed his interaction with The OTC minutes before their match in Atlanta.
Speaking on The Flagrant, Rhodes revealed a rare backstage interaction with Reigns about the sold-out crowd at Bad Blood, sparked by the latter’s return. The Undisputed Champion shared that, despite their mutual respect, they rarely talk backstage, and this was their only backstage conversation.
Thereafter, The American Nightmare and The Needle Mover went on to decimate The Bloodline. It was moments before they were put on notice by The Rock at State Farm Arena. Moreover, it was also the night where Reigns and Rhodes buried the hatchet and went their separate ways in WWE.

Speaking on The Flagrant, Rhodes divulged that Vince McMahon himself flew to his house in Atlanta to negotiate the deal. Although he did not disclose the amount, he admitted that it was fifteen times what he was making in his first run in WWE.
