Cody Rhodes finished his story by defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL, concluding perhaps one of the greatest storylines in history. The storyline had The Rock and Seth Rollins involved, with the Brahma Bull supporting his cousin Reigns and The Visionary in Cody’s corner. During the build-up to the mega-match at WrestleMania XL, a lot of lines were crossed from both sides.

In the conversation with Chris Van Vliet, Cody Rhodes was asked whether he felt The Rock crossed a line during their promo battles. The American Nightmare revealed that when he mentioned his sister Teil Rhodes on live TV, he felt a bit bad about it. His father, WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, had two children from his first marriage, Dustin Rhodes and Kristin Runnels.

Dusty and Michelle Rubio had two other children, Cody and his sister Teil. The current World Heavyweight Champion also mentioned that ‘Mama Rhodes’ never wanted to be on WWE TV, but because of his segments with ‘The Final Boss,‘ it will be in the history books forever. That moment changed the entire dynamic of their feud, as the 39-year-old star decided to slap Rocky after he said that he was a mistake.

Line wise, the only line I think he crossed was he made my sister Teil non-canon and Teil was like the closest I have. This is my original best friend. You know, so that was a little I felt bad. I felt bad for her.

The 39-year-old star revealed that when the Rhodes brothers took on The Shield, the whole crowd was behind them, and it felt special. Rhodes even went on to say that it felt like he and The Visionary were literally floating.

I still think the best Cross Rhodes of all time is the Shield vs the Rhodes brothers with Seth Rollins. Because something about it floated and it literally felt like it was the energy of the crowd in Buffalo that night.
