Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. “The Rock,” is an American professional wrestler. He is known as one of the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. The Rock solidified his illustrious career in pro-wrestling and emerged as a megastar in WWE. He has given some of the most iconic moments in this industry. Besides, Dwayne Johnson went to Hollywood and established his name globally in the mainstream, pursuing a successful acting career. He rose to become a global icon, becoming one of the highest-grossing actors and an influential personality in the world.

Professional Wrestling Career

RAW & SMACKDOWN  (1996–2004, 2011–2013)

The Rock made his WWE debut in 1996 at the Survivor Series in MSG. Ever since his debut, he has walked down the path of stardom and left a lasting impression on the roster. His eighth WWE Championship reign bolstered his career significantly. Some of his most iconic feuds came with Stone Cold, Mankind, and The Undertaker. From being a Royal Rumble winner to a Triple Crown Champion, the Great One has accomplished it all.

The Rock left WWE after his contract expired in 2004. He went to Hollywood to pursue his acting career during his hiatus. However, he returned to the company in 2011 and has been part of some incredible feuds and storylines, including one with John Cena.

SPORADIC APPEARANCES (2014–19)

The Brahma Bull’s appearances in WWE became limited as his Hollywood career surged. He was seen intermittently on WWE TV only during bigger events like the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. However, The Rock achieved exalted stardom in his Hollywood career, becoming a venerable personality. His accomplishments within WWE are unprecedented. The Great One announced his retirement from WWE in August 2019.
