The feud between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes has grown personal since Bad Blood, with fans even getting to see a completely new side of the latter. He seemed much more upset and aggressive on the latest episode of SmackDown. Now, the 39-year-old is making comments toward his opponents that are very unlike him.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Cody Rhodes elaborated on his relationship with suits. Around 2015, The American Nightmare had started dressing up more formally, and it became an integral part of him. He didn’t feel superior because of it or criticize others for not doing the same. However, he always donned a suit wherever he went.

Rhodes felt that men in wrestling are intimated by wearing suits, as this is pretty unusual for them. He then singled out Kevin Owens and said that the Prizefighter was insecure about his ‘manhood.’ He also claimed that no one else was more frustrated or insecure by him wearing suits than the former NXT Champion.

Typically what I’ll say is ‘I think they have an issue with their manhood.’ ….
Yeah. I don’t want to say the word, you know….P*nis. But no one has been more frustrated and upset with the fact that I wear suits than Kevin Owens.

Rhodes has not been afraid of showing off his physique in the past. He has even faced a lot of backlash from the wrestling world for his alleged body shaming. Funnily enough, Vince McMahon was a huge advocate for his superstars wearing suits in public. He believed that his talent should look professional while not in the ring.

Roman Reigns reveals why he didn’t meet Cody Rhodes after their match at WrestleMania XL

Wrestlemania XL was one of the biggest nights in professional wrestling. With one of the most historic main events of all time, one would expect the competitors and all involved to share a wholesome moment backstage. However, this was not what happened in the case of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

Speaking on Sports Illustrated, Roman Reigns explained why they never met backstage after the match. He felt that the moment they shared on the stage was enough. There was no necessity for them to do the same backstage. Reigns even felt that them putting their bodies on the line to create one of the most iconic wrestling moments was enough.

There’s no need, but if you want to sit out there and babyface for four hours then I ain’t waiting especially at that point… We know what we did, we were both out there, so you can thank each other and all that old stuff but we put our bodies on the line together and I think that’s thanks enough.

Rhodes also spent a lot of time celebrating in the ring with various wrestlers, his family, and WWE officials like Triple H. The 9x WrestleMania main eventer said that he did not want to wait around for hours for Rhodes to show up behind the curtains. He had already left by the time the WWE Undisputed Champion wrapped up his celebrations.
