The reigning Undisputed WWE Champion gives a sardonic response to CM Punk's dog Larry, as his merch outsells current wrestlers.

It doesn’t need to be mentioned how personal CM Punk‘s feud with Drew McIntyre had gotten over the summer. So much so that the Scot even dragged Punk’s family into it, most notably his dog, Larry. The pet’s continuous mentions during promos prompted WWE to roll out merchandise for the dog. And to everyone’s surprise, it has outdrawn several current stars and legends on WWE Shop.

Reacting to the news that was broken by WrestleVotes, Cody Rhodes told Adrian Hernandez that Larry’s not there yet. The Undisputed WWE Champion put over his own pet dog, Pharoah, who’s also made several WWE on-screen appearances in the past. Rhodes mentioned that Pharoah has more SKUs, including a couple of tees and some plushies.

The 39-year-old Georgian gave Punk’s dog his flowers but said that Larry’s not on top. Cody asserted that everyone loves Larry, and he’s on his way to make it big. It doesn’t seem like the former AEW EVP is overzealous of Larry’s staggering influence on WWE’s business.

However, CM Punk, who boasts of being a proud father to his pet, posted a picture of Larry resting with his cut of dollars on Instagram. It’s heartening to see how beloved Punk’s dog is backstage. Recently, the Second City Saint brought him to a taping of Raw, where Larry met with the likes of Triple H, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley, to name a few.

With Larry’s growing popularity among WWE Universe, the company is expected to lean more into the hype. WrestleVotes stated that the fans could expect multiple new items to be introduced for the pet upon Punk’s return. The Best in the World turned up on Raw after Bad Blood and said he’s unsure about his WWE future

When is CM Punk expected back in WWE?

As just mentioned, CM Punk has been running absent from WWE programming since Raw post-Bad Blood. However, that’s believed to end soon. After skipping the Crown Jewel PLE in Saudi Arabia, the 46-year-old is reportedly set for Survivor Series: WarGames in Vancouver.

WrestleVotes mentioned that Punk is expected to be a part of the upcoming PLE. He was previously rumored for a world title match against Gunther. However, that doesn’t seem to be happening anymore.

The Ring General is lined up to defend his gold against Damian Priest in what would serve as a rematch from SummerSlam. Maybe The Voice of the Voiceless ends up surprising either Priest or Gunther after the high-stakes bout.
