The Season Premiere of SmackDown on USA Network lived up to its name after some shocking turns of events. It all started with a chaotic ‘Steel Cage’ match between Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes. Following the victory of The American Nightmare, The Bloodline led an all-out assault on him. Unexpectedly, he got the aid of a returning Roman Reigns who had vengeance in his mind.
The Tribal Chief went on to destroy The Bloodline, leading to them retreating from the ring. This segment led to Sikoa issuing a challenge to Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for a match at Bad Blood. The Head of the Table accepted this challenge. Although he was reluctant about teaming up with his longtime rival, he extended the contract to him as a sign of truce in this war against the crooked Bloodline.
The Undisputed Champion wasted no time in signing the contract, making the tag team match official for the Bad Blood PLE. On the other hand, it has been made clear that Sikoa will be teaming up with Jacob Fatu to represent The Bloodline. The Needle Mover and the Samoan Werewolf had an intense stare down in the ring as well earlier that was interrupted by Sikoa.
Moreover, the dynamics between Reigns and Rhodes have changed. The former not only saved the latter from a catastrophic attack but also showed some signs of mutual respect. It is going to be interesting to see how things are going to be when the OTC competes in his first match since WrestleMania, that too against his own family.
