WrestleMania XL was one of the greatest WrestleManias in the history of the wrestling business, featuring compelling storylines and extraordinary matches. However, the match that garnered the most excitement was the main event between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. The American Nightmare finally dethroned The Tribal Chief with the assistance of John Cena and The Undertaker and became world champion.

Cody Rhodes recently appeared on The Pivot podcast and expressed his desire to sit down with Roman Reigns and watch their encounter together. First, he praised Seth Rollins and stated that he had been his guy since he came back to WWE. Then, The American Nightmare talked about not getting a chance to sit down and chat with Reigns.

Rhodes stated that The Tribal Chief’s family and his family share a certain connection in wrestling. He believed that his fight with Reigns for the WWE Undisputed title was written in destiny. The match was filled with many surprising moments and riveting in-ring action between two of the company’s top stars. It ended with Reigns hitting Rollins with a chair, allowing Rhodes to hit three Cross Rhodes and win the title.

Hopefully one day, I would love to sit with Roman Reigns at some point. We'd never had that- sit and talk. Even if we were to watch something back from WWE organized we have to watch WrestleMania. Just because our families are linked for so long and it's kinda fate that has put us together.

Meanwhile, since winning the world title, the former Stardust has been a fighting champion. After beating AJ Styles and Logan Paul, he will wrestle in a 6-man tag team match against The Bloodline. Furthermore, according to several reports, the match between him and Solo Sikoa is earmarked for SummerSlam.

Cody Rhodes disclosed his Mount Rushmore of wrestling

Every sport has four or five entities that have mastered their respective disciplines and accomplished everything there is to achieve. Similarly, Cody Rhodes recently discussed who he felt belonged on his Mount Rushmore of the wrestling industry.

In the same podcast, The American Nightmare chose The Rock, even after admitting that they weren’t big fans of each other. Then he went on to add the names of John Cena, Ric Flair, and his father, Dusty Rhodes. The champ argued for placing Dusty on Mount Rushmore in wrestling, stating that his influence and legacy are still evident in the wrestling business.

He's not a fan of mine and I'm not a fan of his, but is going to be The Rock. In addition to that, it's going to be John Cena... that's another one on my Mount Rushmore. Uh... it's going to be The Nature Boy Ric Flair, and it's going to be my dad.

Interestingly, he didn’t include his mentor and one of his best friends, Randy Orton on the list. Many fans are predicting that The Viper could soon turn heel and potentially betray Rhodes, kickstarting a new rivalry. However, they’ll have to first tackle the Bloodline problem as they team up to face the faction this Saturday.
