“You just got sparked by Dustin Soyier, so sit the fu*k down, Conman McGregor,” Colby Covington shares advice to Conor McGregor
Colby Covington and Conor McGregor
The former UFC Welterweight interim champion Colby Covington is one of the strongest contender to face the champion Kamaru Usman next. Usman knocked out Jorge Masvidal in the main event of UFC 261 and now he is looking forward to challenges that are ahead of him.
After this marvelous performance of Kamaru Usman, the former two-division champion Conor McGregor chimed in and fired shots at Usman. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ also didn’t take much time to respond to Conor and called him a clout chaser.
This also attracted the attention of Colby Covington and he showed no intention of letting anybody take his place as the number 1 contender. In his latest interview with submission radio, Covington shared advice for Conor.
Colby Covington says, “I think it’s laughable. It’s comical. I mean, you just got sparked by Dustin Soyier, Go ask Dustin Soyier about the times we used to train together. He used to cry. He lived in the gym crying.”
“He told his coach Mike Brown (fake crying), ‘Oh, man, Colby’s so tough. I can’t stop him. Why’s he so good? Why does he use his pace so much? And I quit like a little bit*h!’” {H/T MMA News}
Colby Covington advised Conor McGregor to go away
Conor McGregor right now is training for his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in July. But many UFC fighters believe that Conor isn’t hungry and Colby Covington is one of them so he advised him to go away.
Covington added, “So you just got sparked by Dustin Soyier, so sit the fu*k down, Conman McGregor. You couldn’t even knock that old man off the stool. How you gonna knock off greatness and the greatest welterweight of all time (gestures to himself)?”
“So I think it’s funny. He’s just trying to put his name in the hat, keep some hype out there like he’s actually a winnable fighter. Dude, the guy has nothing left, man. You made all your money. You’re cashed out. You’re not hungry. We get it, guy. Just go away.” {H/T MMA News}
