Colby Covington is one of the biggest trolls in the UFC. He recently set his eyes on Michael Chandler after Conor McGregor pulled out of UFC 303. Covington had predicted that the McGregor vs. Chandler fight would not happen. Once, his prediction came true, the UFC welterweight took to Instagram to troll Chandler even more.
Colby Covington and Michael Chandler had appeared on Fox News way before UFC 303 was canceled. They got into a heated back-and-forth. This was when Covington said that deep down even Chandler knew that his fight with ‘The Notorious’ would not happen.

When the news of the fight getting canceled came out, Covington sent out a couple of stories trolling Chandler. Covington clipped their Fox News exchange with Dana White‘s announcement of the fight getting canceled. His next story was an edited picture of Chandler crying with Randy Newman‘s ‘Short People’ as the music.
Chandler and McGregor were supposed to fight later this July. UFC 303 was The Notorious’s highly anticipated comeback after over three years of inactivity. However, things started falling through with the canceled press conference in Dublin, Ireland. Things were left pretty uncertain for a while until Dana White officially announced that the Irishman was out of UFC 303 citing injury. Later, McGregor posted on Instagram that he intends to be at his best when he returns. But will he really come back to fight Michael Chandler?

Many people predicted that Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler would not happen. While everything was set up for later this month their prediction did end up true for now. But the question is, will McGregor really return for a fight with Chandler after another injury? Colby Covington shone some light on this in a recent interview.
Honestly, I don’t think it’s gonna happen. I think Conor is already set. He’s made so much money, you know. His whiskey business you know a couple of 100 million.

Covington pointed out that McGregor made a significant fortune with his boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather. As per Forbes, ‘The Notorious’ made over $100 million. Covington said that the Irishman is too successful to be motivated to fight Chandler.
