The Dallas Cowboys once again found itself in the midst of a controversy, but this time not because of Jerry Jones, the offseason or the unfulfilling contract situations of its player. There appears to be an ongoing beef between its players, which took its course quite publicly on a podcast.
It started with the Cowboys’ safety Malik Hooker’s recent appearance on Keyshawn Johnson’s All Facts No Brakes podcast, where he questioned his teammate Micah Parsons’ priority during the active season and called his podcast a major distraction. After a subsequent back-and-forth, the matters seem escalated as the elite linebacker has now issued a warning to the league.

The two-time Pro Bowler initially reacted to Hooker’s comment by asking him why he didn’t share his feeling personally instead of publicly on a podcast. But now it appears Parsons has gotten fed up with the whole matter as he shared another post on X.

Given that the spat between Hooker and Parsons is all over the news lately, many prominent names within the industry have questioned the Cowboys’ integrity and claimed the team is going in the wrong direction.
Micah Parsons defended by former NFL player Chris Long after Malik Hooker’s criticism
Many people have called out the Cowboys’ safety for publicly criticizing his teammates, believing the situation shouldn’t have escalated to such an extent. Former NFL player Chris Long as well stepped into the ongoing matter to defend Parsons against Hooker’s comment.
He dismissed the safety’s claim that Parsons was the reason for the poor run game of the team and argued that their poor defeat against the Green Bay Packers was not entirely Parsons’ fault.
I don't think Micah Parsons is the problem in Dallas.Chris Long on his Green Light podcast
Since he was drafted in 2021, Parsons has made significant contributions towards the success of the Cowboys in recent times. He posted the 13th-highest stats in the franchise history of 213 tackles and 40.5 sacks. Moreover, he is the first Cowboys player to record sacks in double digits for three consecutive seasons.
