Lewis Hamilton didn’t hide his applause for his friend, Brazilian singer Anitta after she won the 2022 Video Music Award. Lewis uploaded a story on Instagram to congratulate the singer ahead of the Belgian GP. Anitta won her very well-deserved MTV award as the seven-time Formula 1 champion said.
Earlier we also witnessed Lewis sympathising over Anitta’s dad’s poor health, wishing him a fast and speedy recovery after her dad finds himself a cancer patient. Anitta, on the other hand, supported Lewis after all the racial discrimination faced by the world and during his fight in his Formula 1 career.
Their friendship is all about support and Lewis proves it again, “Congratulations!!! so well deserved,” -Lewis via IG Story.

Lewis Hamilton’s recap for the Belgian GP
The 4 time Spa winner entered 2022 with not a competitive car this season and that stayed the same after 13 rounds of racing. Spa 2022 was the first race where we had Lewis on the list of the DNF cars. Hamilton before Spa was the only driver to finish all the races he started this season but Belgium changed those stats.
Lewis Hamilton tangled with Fernando Alonso in Turn 5 of the very first lap and had to stop his car from getting a further breakdown. Ultimately suffered a no-point finish race after scoring a podium in all of his last five races.
Mercedes also feared taking a new engine in the Netherlands after the hit Lewis had to take in Spa. Currently, Lewis is stable on the 6th of the championship table with 146 points.
