Earlier this week, Caroline Wozniacki welcomed the newest member of her expanding family. On October 27, 2022 (Thursday), taking to her official social media handles, she officially introduces the new member of her family, James, her second kid.

At the beginning of 2020, Wozniacki declared her retirement from professional tennis, much to the disappointment of her fans. However, in June, she then surprised her viewers as she revealed her pregnancy, eliciting a plethora of supportive comments from viewers and fans online. Olivia was born to the former world number one and her NBA player husband David Lee in June 2021. The Danish superstar and Lee got hitched in the year 2019.

Wozniacki posted a photo of her two kids with Olivia looking up at the camera with a surprised expression next to a sleeping baby, James.

“Family of 4. James Wozniacki Lee born October 24, 2022. Everybody is healthy and Olivia is thrilled to be a big sister,” Wozniacki wrote in the caption.

Caroline Wozniacki is one of the few brilliant female tennis players who challenged Serena Williams and her dominance in women’s tennis. That’s not all, the former Danish tennis player won the 2018 Australian Open, her only Grand Slam title. In 2009, and 2014, she made it to the final of the US Open. She achieved her career-highest ranking of World No.1 in 2010 and stayed there for a total of 71 weeks.

Also, former tennis players Ana Ivanovic and Elena Vesnina congratulated the couple with their best wishes.

“Congratulations! So happy for you,” wrote Ivanovic.

Brooklyn Decker, wife of former tennis player Andy Roddick also expressed her happiness on the news.

The new kid is now included in the long list of children of wonderfully talented tennis players across the globe. With that being said, the tennis community is overwhelmed with joy as Johanna Konta Daniil Medvedev, Gael Monfils, Elina Svitolina, and Rafael Nadal amongst others broke the news of becoming parents in the last few weeks.
