‘Number 1 of course’ – Conor McGregor answers fan questions on Twitter

Conor McGregor has been actively training for his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The fight will be taking place in front of a full house in Vegas on the 10th of July. We are set to witness the bout because Dustin Poirier evened the score in their rivalry after knocking out McGregor in their rematch at UFC 257.
McGregor recently took time, to answer a number of Twitter fan questions. Some of the notable ones were, how many times he intended to fight this year, where he would stand in the Forbes’ List of Highest Paid Athletes next year and what he felt about his children taking up the sport of MMA in the future.

McGregor stated that he would be number 1 in the Forbes’ list of highest paid athletes next year. He tweeted, “Number 1 of course.”
When asked about his children taking up the sport of MMA, Conor tweeted, “Yes! I’ve been training my son since day 1. He will be ready if he decides too. I am going to do this fight away from the family also. For a change. Fights and boppies and cuddles is a hard one to balance. I’m going into this one a wild dog.“
‘I’ve a lot of respect for Joe’ – Conor McGregor
‘The Notorious’ was asked if he would go on Joe Rogan’s podcast someday. Conor replied, “I’d love to! I feel at some stage we should! I’ve a lot of respect for Joe. He shouted me out before anyone else in the UFC also. Before I had signed with the company.“
Conor then said that he intended to fight at least two more times this year. He tweeted, “2 at least.”
