Mike Perry is back with a bang and this time; he knocked out opponent Thiago Alves. The pair headlined the BKFC Knucklemania 4 that took place in Los Angeles. Perry maintained his undefeated bare-knuckle record by knocking out Alves in the very first round of the fight.
Mike Perry returned to action for the first time since scoring a second-round TKO victory over Eddie Alvarez last December at BKFC 56. ‘Platinum’ made his BKFC debut back in 2021 and since then has participated in some incredible fights. The fighter has fought popular superstars such as Michael Page, Luke Rockhold, etc.
On the other hand, Alves was most previously seen in action at BKFC 18 in June of 2021, where he got a TKO victory. Alves registered a win over Ulysses Diaz to claim the promotion’s inaugural middleweight championship. The former UFC fighter was on a mission to hand Mike Perry his first career BKFC loss.
However, the result was wildly different from what Alves had expected. The bout ended after the first round. Perry knocked out the former UFC title challenger with a strong left hand early in the fight. ‘Pitbull’ got back on his feet, but he was clearly unable to continue the fight. The fans went wild, and the internet was flooded by various reactions to the fight.
