The long-lasting rivalry between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is showing no signs of slowing down. Now with Nurmagomedov’s retirement, his teammates have maintained the bad blood, and didn’t shy away from mocking the ‘Notorious.’ Recently, Khabib’s cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov, issued the latest insult aimed at the Irishman.

The rivalry got renewed recently when Usman Nurmagomedov defended his Bellator lightweight title against Paul Hughes. Being from Ireland, McGregor was initially involved in this rivalry while he supported Hughes. However, Nurmagomedov won the fight via decision and has taken this opportunity to mock McGregor and his kids. 

When his kids are 18, people will say, ‘Hey your father tried to do some crazy stuff but some guy from Dagestan came to America and kicked your father’s ass.’

Usman explained that unlike his cousin, the legendary Khabib Nurmagomedov, he isn’t that humble. According to the fighter, he tries his best to show his good side because he has the responsibility to be an ambassador of the sport. It is something that McGregor lacks, especially in the event years. 

Once adored and respected, McGregor has lost all his credibility due to his recent social media rants and comments. The Irish fighter has also found himself in various controversies regarding se*ual assault and civil lawsuits. The decline of McGregor from an inspirational figure to a target of mockery has been fascinating to witness.

Conor McGregor recently announced that he will be fighting YouTuber Logan Paul in a boxing bout hosted by the Ambani family. According to the fighter, each of them would have made a whopping $250 million from the fight. While things were positive about the deal, McGregor revealed that the UFC wasn’t interested.

McGregor recently met Logan and his brother Jake Paul during Donald Trump‘s inauguration ceremony. During their meeting, both parties went viral given their long-lasting rivalry. In a recent podcast, Paul shared a unique perspective about their meet-up. 

I watched back that footage of Conor talking sh*t to us. This is a statement that at one point would have made us feel fear and now two Youtubers are laughing at this washed-up cracked-out fighter, who’s unhinged and there’s no truth in what he says.

McGregor is currently busy partying and promoting his brands such as the BKFC. The Irish fighter has also shown interest in potentially debuting for BKFC. However, a large part of the MMA community doesn’t think that the ‘Mystic Mac’ can make a professional comeback.
