McGregor suffered a terrible injury that has kept him out of action for the last three years. In their trilogy match at UFC 264, a first-round doctor’s stoppage TKO loss to Dustin Poirier resulted in a fracture to his left tibia. Since then, he has been unable to perform due to this injury.
