Conor McGregor wants a piece of Khabib, rekindles feud again
Conor McGregor has rekindled his rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov, stating that he once beat up Khabib’s brother and cousin. Conor, who is making a come back to the UFC after announcing his retirement, earlier this year, will face Dustin Poirier in January 23, 2021. And, as for Khabib, he will be facing Justin Gaethje at UFC 254, later this week.
In the wake of this, Conor has fanned the flames to the already heated up rivalry between him and “The Eagle of Dagestan”. Of late, Conor has been making his intentions very clear that he wants a rematch with the Russian. Taking to twitter, Conor has been posting a lot of tweets about his performane at UFC 229.
“I bounced up and bet his brother and his cousin round” – Conor McGregor
Conor wasn’t happy when a fan tweeted, referencing Conor’s recent statements that he won 3 out of 4 rounds against Khabib. The fan’s tweet read, “This is the face of a man who won 3 out 4 with Khabib.” Conor hit back tweeting, “Ye, not a scratch. Relaxing before I bounced up and bet his brother and his cousin round.” These words show that, Conor still isn’t convinced with the Russian’s victory over him at UFC 229, two years ago.
Well, going by the looks of it, the MMA world and of course, “The Notorious” himself will be looking forward to beating Dustin Poirier, so that he can have a shot at Khabib Nurmagomedov again. But, the Dagestani fighter, hasn’t showed even one bit of interest, maintaining that he wouldn’t fight Conor even if he was offered a truckload of cash. What do you think? Is Khabib vs Conor brewing? Or will Khabib stick to his word?
