Conor McGregor‘s newly acquired Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship delivered some more fights than promised. The performances of Mike Perry and ‘Big’ Ben Rothwell grabbed headlines. However, BKFC’s recent KnuckleMania IV event was marred by a wild brawl and it didn’t even involve the fighters.

The melee kicked off when some overzealous influencer decided to slap a fan’s phone right out of his hands. This resulted in a massive brawl in the crowd. The video by MMA Junkie showed at least one person knocked out cold on the floor. Even the president of BKFC, David Feldman, had to intervene. The scene was just pure chaos.

Conor McGregor announced his part ownership of the promotion at the same KnuckleMania IV event. Mike Perry was headlining this event against Thiago Alves. The fights in the ring were electric, and that transferred over to the crowds as well.  A chaotic brawl between an influencer and a disgruntled fan quickly went viral over various social media platforms.

The bare-knuckle fighting championship now aspires to move to a new height following the joining of the Irish superstar. Promoters like Feldman and Dana White do not like the liability of brawls in the crowd. This could potentially end in a lawsuit or worse. This explains the reason for Feldman’s personal presence there.

Mike Perry hints at the possibility of fighting Conor McGregor

Mike Perry was recently interviewed by MMA Fighting. He stated his wish to fight the ‘Notorious.’ He even hinted at the possibility of this fight becoming a reality. The zealous fighter believed that their fight would be a must-watch spectacle.

I think it could be a possibility. When my manager shared it and he was like, ‘This will happen,’ I was like, whoa, that’s cool. Look, Conor likes to throw hands. He’s a great boxer. Fought Floyd Mayweather. He got a front row seat to watch my show with Luke Rockhold and he gave me respect by coming into the ring and giving me some of his time there. I think it would be fun and incredible.

Perry and McGregor have already shared the ring once before. Last year at BKFC 41, Perry defeated Luke Rockhold in a violent back-and-forth war. After the bout, McGregor entered the ring to congratulate Perry. They even had a little face-off. Perry transitioned to bare-knuckle boxing in 2021 after compiling a 14-8 record in MMA. He’s since become one of BKFC’s biggest draws with memorable wins over Luke Rockhold, Julian Lane, Michael Page, and Eddie Alvarez.
