CM Punk has a dog named Larry, whom he and his wife, AJ Lee, consider their son. Nonetheless, they do have a daughter as well. Not via birth but through a special bond, one that former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Cora Jade shares with both of them. Jade gave a shout-out to Lee while wishing her a Happy Mother’s Day. The currently injured superstar has been a lifelong fan of Punk and his better half.

Numerous videos of Cora’s younger self fangirling CM Punk have surfaced in recent times. Acknowledging their previous ties, WWE even made the 23-year-old’s childhood dream come true when they sent The Best in the World to NXT Deadline PLE last year. The 5-time WWE Champion caught Jade off guard in a backstage interview where the two hugged each other with Punk relaying the word to her that she’s got a bright future in WWE.

Makeshift dad CM Punk then posed with his daughters, not one but two, as current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez also joined them. Jade and Perez just revere AJ Lee. The Black Widow has played an instrumental role in honing the mindset of those two young ladies, who’ve only scratched the surface. Lee, a former Divas Champion, hasn’t stepped back into the squared circle since calling it a day back in 2015.

Will she ever come back? Maybe. But it doesn’t look promising based on what her husband had to say not that long ago. The Geek Goddess had to prematurely hang up her boots for good and not on her own terms. Continued neck issues forced the 37-year-old to wrap up her in-ring career in a way that’s unfortunate.

CM Punk’s improved well-being is ominous for Drew McIntyre

CM Punk is slowly regaining physical stability with each passing day. He has already ditched the robotic arm brace that was a gloomy sight for the fans ever since he tore his triceps at the Royal Rumble. He has also started to hold his ground against a man who’s made a profession out of loathing the Chicagoan.

At this point, it’s not easy to navigate who has an edge over the other. But after a no-show during Punk’s promo last Monday, Drew McIntyre set the latter’s autographed poster ablaze.

The Second City Saint didn’t back down either as he posted a Kendrick Lamar-themed diss track on The Scottish Warrior. Neither of the men is cleared for in-ring action but they’d hope to lock each other down soon.
