Dhoni could be seen with a smile on his face during his conversation with Gambhir, delighting fans despite their ostensibly tense relationship. Previously, the former Indian opener openly criticized the wicket-keeper batter on a number of occasions.

Gautam Gambhir, a two-time IPL champion, is currently working as a mentor for the Lucknow-based franchise. Regardless of the outcome of the game, seeing this duo, who helped India win the World Cup in 2011 with match-winning knocks, was a treat for fans.
