Netizens troll Hardik Pandya for wishing ‘Marry Christmas’ on Twitter
Hardik Pandya's tweet
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is at home nursing his back injury which apparently hasn’t healed completely. Even after a year, Pandya continues to struggle. The all-rounder seldom bowls and he is not as expressive with the bat as he was a couple of years down the lane. Pandya’s off the colour performances saw him get dropped from the New Zealand series.
Hardik Pandya is currently at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) training to bounce back strong. As he rehabilitates, Pandya found some time to get back together with his family to celebrate Christmas. Pandya took to Twitter to share pictures of him and his elder brother Krunal Pandya celebrating the holiday with their families.
Twitteratis pull Hardik Pandya’s leg over a typo
Netizens were quick to notice an error in the tweet. Hardik Pandya had misspelt “Marry Christmas” and the simple typo triggered the trolls. While some came up with clever puns others took a dig at the all rounder’s English knowledge. Twitteratis had a good laugh at the expense of the cricketer.

In his absence, India is trying the likes of Venkatesh Iyer and even Shardul Thakur to replace the devastating all-rounder. The team is in a dire need of an all-rounder and fans are hoping to get to see the vintage Hardik Pandya back.
