Internet goes emotional watching Pat Cummins reuniting with his pregnant partner

Pat Cummins finally reunited with his pregnant partner after a month long hotel quarantine which had him separated from his beloved family. After IPL-2021 was postponed by BCCI on May 4, 2021 with just 29 out of the total 60 matches completed the IPL bound Australian contingent were mandated to undergo hotel quarantine in Maldives. The Australian players – including coaches and commentators were under quarantine for a period of one month before they finally reunited with their family.

The video of Pat Cummins reuniting with his Pregnant wife surfaced the internet which featured the Australian player embracing his wife Becky tightly. The viewers went emotional along with the couples and made delightful comments over their reunion. Steve Smith and David warned completed their quarantine in Sydney before they reached home.

Meanwhile Jason Behendroff had also expressed his delight over reaching home finally after undergoing various obstacles and restrictions due to the surge of COVID-19 contradiction. The Australian government had impemented several regulations and restrictions for Australian contingent to return home as they are returning from the Covid-hit-India.

“It was nice to know that we were getting home, that’s for sure,” pace bowler Jason Behrendorff, who represented Chennai Super Kings, was quoted as saying by Fox Sports. “It’s always tough being stuck somewhere, and knowing that we’re able to get home was a relief, and now we’re out of quarantine, I can’t wait to get home and see my family,” he added.

Previously the Australian contingent was instructed to undergo 2-3 weeks quarantine in the Maldives before they fly to Australia as there were travel restrictions imposed by the Australian government.

“There were hugs and tears as dozens of Australian cricketers, coaches and commentators finally exited hotel quarantine in Sydney on Monday morning,” said a report in Fox Sports.

Many of the players from the IPL bound Australian contingents were a part of the 23 men squad for the 2 limited over series against West Indies which is scheduled to take place on July 9 in St Lucia. The squad includes Behrendorff, Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, David Warner, Glenn Maxwell and Kyle Richardson. Previously, the Australian bowlers representing RCB- Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa had returned home before flight restrcitions were imposed by the Aussie government.

Finally the Aussie contingent who were providing us with cherishable moments in this IPL 2021 had returned to their home safe and sound and we shall soon expect them to return for the second phase of IPL 2021 which is scheduled to take place in UAE staring from September 19, 2021.
