With the new edition of the Indian Premier League coming soon, cricket fans just cannot keep calm. IPL 2022 auction saw Kolkata Knight Riders bid for Nitish Rana for Rs. 8 crores, going ahead with the purchase. Earlier, Nitish Rana had set a base price of Rs. 1 crore for himself. He was part of Kolkata Knight Riders in the last season.

The left-handed star batsman, Nitish Rana has always been known for his different hairstyles. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the stylish Indian batsman unveiled his new hairstyle. Debuting the stunning new hairstyle on Instagram, the Indian batsman was sporting a black T-shirt. KKR shared a couple of photos to showcase his brand new avatar and fans were quick to give the stylish cricketer a thumbs up on social media. “We can’t get over @NitishRana_27’s hairstyle for #IPL2022 ??,” KKR captioned his post on the photo.

The left-handed batsman made his debut in the Indian Premier League in 2015, having been picked by Mumbai Indians. He did not play a match in the first season, but in 2016, he has played four matches and scored 104 runs. He played 13 matches in IPL 2017 and amassed 333 runs at an average of 30.27. However, Mumbai Indians let him go ahead of the mega auction in IPL 2018 and Kolkata Knight Riders chose him.

KKR’s Nitish Rana has scored 300 or more runs in each of the last 5 seasons. In IPL 2021, he scored 383 runs in 17 matches at an average of 29.46 with 2 fifty-plus scores. Ahead of IPL 2022 auction, the franchise released him from the squad. Nitish Rana was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 8 Crores in IPL 2022 Mega Auction.
