Team England are on fire in the ongoing 2021 edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The former champions outclassed West Indies in their first game followed up with victories over Bangladesh and Australia. While it has been an all-round performance by the Englishmen, one man who has shone brightly is England’s wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler.

Buttler has been in absolutely sensational form in the T20 World Cup. Buttler kickstarted his campaign with not out 24 against West Indies. Though the batter flattened against Bangladesh, he returned with a scintillating not-out 71 runs against Australia. Playing the fourth match against Sri Lanka at the Sharjah Cricket Ground, the keeper has again delivered a hair-raising performance.

Jos Buttler registered a score of 101 runs to hammer his maiden international century in the shortest format of the game. The batter also achieved a milestone as he became only the second Three Lions player after skipper Eoin Morgan to smash 2000 international runs in the T20I format.

The 31-year-old’s exploits with the willow sent Twitter into a meltdown as the fans fell short of words to praise Jos Buttler. Twitter was all praises for the right-hander as the microblogging site was flooded with appreciation tweets and memes.
