KL Rahul became the first players in the history of IPL to score a ton in the 100th appearance in the cash-rich league.

Manish Pandey praised KL Rahul and said that it was a typical Rahul performance and that team is happy with the performance. But he added that the team was looking at 210 but still happy with the total and he hoped that the bowlers will do the rest of the job. He said that the wicket is really good and, on his innings, he was not much pleased early in the season but he is ready to help his team whenever required.

KL Rahul becomes the second player to score multiple hundreds as captain in IPL after Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli has five hundreds under his belt. Adam Gilchrist, Sanju Samson, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virender Sehwag have one century each under their names while leading an IPL side. KL Rahul surpassed these legendary cricketers and has now two hundreds as captain.
