West Indies flamboyant opening batter Lendl Simmons has picked his best all-time playing XI for the shortest format of the game. In a fun exercise while interacting with the media, he revealed that former India skipper MS Dhoni will be the captain of his fantasy team.
Coming to the openers of his side, Simmons named ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle and current India T20I skipper Rohit Sharma. These two batters are amongst the finest T20 players across the globe. At number three, the right-hander placed India’s Virat Kohli, who is one of the leading run-scorers in limited-overs formats.
Former South Africa cricketer AB de Villiers and West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard found themselves at number four and five respectively. These two have exceptional T20 numbers and records against their names.
