Chennai Super Kings pacer Tushar Deshpande who was picked for just 20 lakhs played a crucial role in CSK’s title win. In 16 matches the Mumbai pacer picked up 21 wickets while maintaining an economy rate of under 10. Deshpande has 83 wickets in 59 matches in T20s and 80 wickets in 29 matches in first-class cricket. With his impressive show in the IPL, the ability to pick up the big wickets, and break partnerships, Tushar Deshpande can prove to be an ideal addition to Team India’s squad.

2. Akash Madhwal

The pacer from Uttarakhand, Akash Madhwal, who was brought into the Mumbai Indians team for just 20 lakhs put on a good show for MI by picking up 14 wickets in 8 matches with an economy rate of under 9. In his 30-match T20 career, Madhwal has picked up 15 wickets. He has picked 12 wickets in his first-class career so far. His recent performance for Mumbai Indians can be a major boost to his chances of making it to the Indian side.

3. Mukesh Kumar

The pacer from Bengal, Mukesh Kumar, was picked up by the Delhi Capitals for a whopping 5.5 crores for his bowling expertise in the domestic circuit. Mukesh has done well for India ‘A’ and has also been a part of the India squad already on a number of occasions. Kumar was a part of India’s squad for South Africa, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand series last year but didn’t get a game throughout. He was also a part of the WTC Final squad as a reserve pacer. His previous inclusions in India’s squad are an indicator of his long-due debut which could very well happen in the upcoming West Indies series.
