Indian cricket fans still gush over the spectacular six Virat Kohli hit off Haris Rauf in the 2022 T20 World Cup. The International Cricket Council (ICC) honored Kohli by declaring that six as the ‘Shot of the Century’ that he hit during that memorable 82*-run knock in Melbourne.

Kohli, however, has not yet played a single T20I game since last featuring in the semifinal against England in that T20 World Cup. Amid debates over whether Kohli or Rohit Sharma should deserve the chance to be included in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) chose to include both of them in the T20I series against Afghanistan.

Llyod reckoned a team full of youngsters needs guidance from experienced players, so the selectors need to pick Kohli due to his contribution with the bat and choose Rohit because of his captaincy. The former West Indies captain also believes it’s better for a team if youngsters push the old players.
