Recently the cast of Netflix’s upcoming film, Kho Gaye Hum Kaha, made an appearance on JioCinema’s pre-match show called Match Centre Live. Actors Ananya Pandey, Siddharth Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav came to promote their upcoming film. In the show, the trio were asked various questions regarding their upcoming film and cricket. 

When asked who she thought was the GOAT (Greatest of all time), Pandey said she believed it was Virat Kohli adding that he was passionate for the game. She further added that she really liked the way he interacts with his wife, actress Anushka Sharma during matches. When asked which cricketer she would want to send a DM (direct message) to, Pandey said she wants to send a DM to Rohit Sharma to thank him for his leadership in the World Cup.

The trio also talked about other cricketers. Pandey said she felt proud of Rinku Singh’s meteoric rise in the world of cricket, adding that his 5 sixes in an over during the 2023 IPL was one of her favorite moments. Gourav said that he was a huge fan of former Indian captain MS Dhoni, saying that his leadership and tactical awareness is an attribute he admires. Chaturvedi said he’s excited for the future of Yashasvi Jaiswal, calling him a “kadak” (solid) player.

Former Pakistan quick, Junaid Khan, appeared in famour Pakistani YouTuber Nadir Ali’s podcast. The two talked about the state of Pakistan cricket, the future and about a few Indian batters as well.

Junaid Khan believed Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, was the best batter India has produced. Khan claimed he was better than Sachin Tendulkar as well, who is widely considered the greatest batter of all time. He further added that scoring 3 double centuries in ODIs is no easy feat and praised his six hitting ability. 

Rohit Sharma is a better batsman than Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. He is also the greatest Indian batter. He has all the shots in his batting arsenal. Scoring three double hundreds in ODIs is no small landmark. He has hit the most sixes for India. For me, Rohit is ahead of all other Indian batters.

In the recent World Cup, VIrat Kohli became the first batter to cross 700 runs in a World Cup, scoring 765 runs. Sharma also scored 597 runs, finishing as the 2nd highest run scorer.
