Since IPL 2022 has ended with Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans clinching the trophy in their maiden season beating Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals, several Indian players have impressed us with their performances to get themselves selected for the T20Is.
The overseas players are not behind in leaving their mark this season with Jos Buttler being the highest run scorer in the tournament. So let’s look at the Best Overseas XI of the tournament.

IPL 2022: Best Overseas XI of the tournament
1. Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler was the Orange Cap winner of the tournament, scoring 863 runs in 17 matches, the second highest in the all-time run getters and is just behind Virat Kohli‘s 973 which he had scored in 2016. He had smashed four centuries and had smashed 83 fours and 45 sixes, the most by any in this season. The English man had been in terrific form in the first half but his bat had remained silent in the other half. But he returned in the playoffs and scored his fourth century in the Qualifier 2.
2. Quinton de Kock (WK)

He opended for Lucknow Supergiants and scored 508 runs, the second most for the team after KL Rahul‘s 616. He also scored the highest run in a single innings with his unbeaten 140.
3. David Warner (C)

He had struggled for runs last year which must have made the Sunrisers Hyderabad release him; retained by Delhi Capitals, he had scored 432 runs in 12 innings. His also slammed his best knock with an unbeaten 92 verus his former team SRH.
4. Liam Livingstone

Another English big hitter, Liam Livinstone batted mostly at number four for the Punjab Kings and had scored 437 runs with 34 sixes. A part time spinner, he had taken five wickets as well.
5. David Miller

This player’s form was the reason why Gujarat Titans didn’t have to worry about the finishing department. He finished the season with 482 runs from 16 games. Since 2015, this southpaw had the best season.
6. Tim David

The Australian power-hitter displayed his skills in few matches for Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians didn’t include him in their playing XI in their first few matches but when he was given the chance, he smashed it with sixes and fours.
7. Andre Russell

The list is incomplete without including this West Indian all-rounder playing for Kolkata Knight Riders. He scored 335 runs and picked up 335 wickets and finished third in the list of MVP players.
8. Sunil Narine

Although Narine didn’t pick many wickets this season, only 9, but bowled with an economy of 5.57, the best this season.
9. Rashid Khan

It is impossible to non include this Afghanistan spinner who ended up his season with 19 wickets at an economy of 6.59. Playing for Gujarat Titans, not only with the ball, he displayed his power-hitting as well.
10. Wanindu Hasaranga

He wasn’t retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore but still were able to buy this Sri Lankan spinner. He finished the season with 26 wickets, the second-most, after Rajasthan Royals’ Yuzvendra Chahal.
11. Josh Hazlewood

One again, he had a great season this year for RCB, finishing it with 20 wickets.
12. 12th Man- Lockie Ferguson

Playing for Gujarat Titans, this Kiwi pacer bowled the fastest delivery of IPL 2022 with his 157.3 kph in the final. He had bagged 12 wickets.
