Virat Kohli, Vamika Kohli
Cricket is not just a game in India, it is like a religion and has created controversy. The worst part is when a player doesn’t do well during a match, he receives threats of all sorts from the fans. Their emotions reach the zenith that they fail to control them, and several times, they end up doing some obscene kinds of stuff.
In November 2021, a graduate from IIT Hyderabad, Ramnagesh Akubathini, was detained by the Mumbai police from Telangana for allegedly tweeting lewd comments on former India captain Virat Kohli’s infant Vamika Kohli. This happened after India’s defeat to Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.
But now recent reports stated that Kohli’s manager Aquilia D’Souza has granted consent to drop charges against Akubathini. A bench of the Bombay High Court has quashed the charge against him after a plea by advocates Abhijeet Desai and Karan Gajra said that as there have been no criminal antecedents against him, the charges can cause prejudice to him. Akubathini was booked for offenses under sections 354, 506, 500, and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

The picture seemed to be clicked by Anushka Sharma who is in Bengaluru right now and even attended yesterday’s match at the Chinnaswamy stadium. In that match, Kohli slammed 61 off 44 balls.
