Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit two consecutive sixes against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Sunday and it was enough for his fans to go crazy. As Dhoni walked out to bat in the 20th over of the CSK innings, fans expected a brisk cameo from the CSK captain and Dhoni exactly did that. MS scored 13* runs off just 4 balls with the help of two sixes and sent his fans into a frenzy.
These two sixes from Dhoni came on the last two balls of the 20th over. While the first one came in the deep backward point region, Dhoni whacked a full toss from Curran deep into the deep midwicket stands for the second maximum. Dhoni’s muscle strength was on display when the CSK skipper hit Curran for the second six.

Amid these two sixes from MS Dhoni CSK fans might have forgotten a valiant knock played by Devon Conway. The opening batter scored a 52-ball 92* and held one end intact. It was Conway’s knock which was the cake while Dhoni’s finishing touch was the icing. Conway was fluent as ever during his stay at the crease. The southpaw hit sixteen boundaries and a six in his 52-ball knock. But such is the aura of MS Dhoni that Conway could also not stop talking about those two sixes from Dhoni.
“Good wicket. It was a little bit slow at the beginning when the bowlers hit the hard length. You have to be nice and clear whenever you go into bat. Absolutely (on batting for the team and not for the 100). It was a great atmosphere when it (Dhoni’s two sixes) went out of the park,” said after his innings.
