Pat Cummins said he wanted to bowl as he believed the wicket was dry and the due was also an important factor. Due to the dew he didn’t want to bowl at night. Cummins said the Australian side is unchanged, with the same playing XI from their semi-final clash.

Rohit Sharma was happy with the toss, as he wanted to bat first and put up a huge score in an important match. He said it was a dream come true, captaining India in a World Cup final and that the team was calm and ready. India too had an unchanged XI.

So it makes absolute sense when D.A.V. Public School, Faridabad, decided to postpone the Unit Tests from 20th November, Monday, to 21st November, Tuesday. This was done so that students could watch the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup Finals, which was being played between India and Australia on 19th November, Sunday.

In a notice released by the school, the school announced that they had postponed the Unit Tests and acknowledged how important cricket is. They said after numerous requests after the student bodies they came to the decision. The school also hoped their students performed well in their upcoming tests as they postponed.
