On 19th November, Australian Opener David Warner won his 2nd World Cup title. At the age of 37, the Australian opener has featured in three World Cups, scoring 1527 runs in 29 innings. Many believed that this was his last appearance in the World Cup as he already announced that he was going to retire from Tests in December 2023. But Warner has dropped a massive hint regarding his white ball cricket future.

David Warner thanks and apologizes to Indian fans
Fans know how much David Warner loves India and its culture. He is a huge fan of the Indian movie, Pushpa, and has regularly uploaded videos of him and his family dancing on Indian songs. So when he and his team beat India in the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup final, he made sure he thanked and apologized to the Indian fans.
On 20th November he tweeted out how sorry he was he broke so many Indian hearts but congratulated them for putting up “a serious event” and keeping a great atmosphere. Later in an Instagram post he thanked India and Indians for organizing the World Cup. He later stated how happy he was that his nation won their 6th World Cup Title and will see everyone in the 2027 World Cup.
