In the past few weeks a lot of people have talked about the behavior of Indian fans towards the Pakistan Cricket Team. The hostile treatment to the Pakistan cricket team was criticized by the Pakistan team and media, while some Indian journalists were also unhappy with this. Regarding this topic, ex-Pakistan player Danish Kaneria had an online feud with an Indian journalist, Arfa Khanum Sherwani.
Arfa had tweeted about how unhappy she was with the behavior of the fans and said she was embarrassed and ashamed as an Indian. In reply to this, Danish Kaneria told her to come to Pakistan. Kaneria claimed if she was ashamed to be an Indian, she should stay in Pakistan, a trip many Indians would be happy to sponsor.
Arfa then tweeted that Danish Kaneria had sent people to abuse her after her tweet. She was unhappy how an international cricketer had turned into a “communal troll”. She also confirmed that she won’t leave India for Pakistan. Kaneria again replied to her tweet, saying that she’s using “propaganda words” and they didn’t work on him. He asked if he ever tried spreading communalism and asked her to express her dislike of Pakistan if she doesn’t want to come.

During the match, Kaneria tweeted, “I am seeing on my timeline almost every person is abusing or angry over Pakistani team’s performance in World Cup. But if i will say something, they will paint me as anti-pakistani”. So far he hasn’t tweeted about Afghanistan’s victory and hasn’t released a video about the team’s performance on his YouTube channel.
