‘Best T20 player in the world’ – Drew McIntyre reacts to Suryakumar Yadav’s century against New Zealand
Former WWE champion Drew McIntyre has reacted to Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav‘s batting carnival against New Zealand. The right-handed batter ran riots in the second match on Sunday (November 20) as he smashed his second T20I century. He remained unbeaten on 111, taking just 51 deliveries, including 11 fours and seven sixes.
McIntyre took to Twitter to praise Yadav for his incredible showcase and even called him the best T20 player in the world at present. He wrote: “My man Sky Yadav coming through again Best T20 player in the world right now!.” The tweet is doing the rounds on the internet.
Yadav was adjudged the player of the match for his match-defining knock. It was his seventh man-of-the-match award of this year, overtaking Virat Kohli, who has six to his name. To be honest, no one is even close to him in the shortest format as things stand for now.

Tim Southee praises Suryakumar Yadav
New Zealand pacer Tim Southee, who himself took a hat-trick in the match, couldn’t resist but praised Suryakumar Yadav for his impressive batting. He stated that India have produced many great T20 cricketers but what the 33-year-old has been doing since last year is very eye-catching.
“There has been a number of great T20 players from India, so many great cricketers. Surya has been having a great 12 months and it is for him to continue to do what he has been doing (for over a period of time). He is a player who can hit in a number of ways. He has been in great form in the last 12 months in IPL and international cricket. He came up with a very impressive knock today,” he said.

The Men in Blue registered a 65-run win over the Blacks Caps to lead the three-match T20I series, having lost their first match due to rain. The two sides will lock horns for the final T20I on Tuesday (November 22). Following that, they will play three ODIs before India returns home.
