Toby scored 21 runs off 14 deliveries including 2 sixes and 2 boundaries before he was adjudged out. In what was supposed to be a six on the 15th delivery that he faced, Toby ended up hitting his stumps in the follow-through of the shot, marking his amusing dismissal in County Cricket.
A handy lower-order batsman, Toby Jones has played 14 matches in first-class cricket scoring 516 runs at an average of 24.76. He has also picked up 17 wickets for England in the 4 Tests that he has played for them.
