“Fake news chaapne lage ab,” Virat Kohli SLAMS publication house for sharing fake news about his building cricket pitch in Alibaug

The former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, has taken a strong stance against fake news in the media. Recently, Kohli criticized a prominent publication for publishing false information that he had been building a cricket pitch at his Alibaug home. The report, which was initially published by Mid-Day and then caught up by the Times of India, stated that Kohli and his actress wife, Anushka Sharma, were building a cricket pitch at their unfinished farmhouse.
The powerful couple purchased an 8-acre plot of land in the village of Zirad, Alibaug, with the intention of constructing a luxurious manor. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are committed to a minimalistic, natural aesthetic.
Kohli posted on Instagram that he was dissatisfied with the media’s role in disseminating false information and quoted , “bachpan se jo akhbaar pada, wo bhi fake news chhapne lage.”
His response demonstrates his commitment to tackling misinformation. Despite his prominent career, he maintains watch with regard to misleading claims. The couple is well-known for their real estate investments, which include a bungalow in Gurugram. They currently reside in a sea-facing apartment in Mumbai. Kohli’s actions highlight the significance of accurate reporting in an era of pervasive misinformation.
Kohli breaks silence about his social media earnings
Since Kohli was on international duty in Australia at the time, his sibling Vikas Kohli completed the registration formalities at the Alibaug sub-registrar office. Kohli recently clarified reports claiming that the batting expert earns approximately INR 11 crore for uploading advertising Instagram posts.
”While I am thankful and indebted for everything I’ve received in life, the rumors circulating about my social media revenues are false”, Kohli had said. On the professional front, the 34-year-old is preparing for the forthcoming Asia Cup. Operating-system machine Kohli did not bat for Rohit Sharma’s Team India against the West Indies in the Caribbean during his previous white-ball assignment.
