Twitteratis send wishes to Harmanpreet Kaur on her birthday
As she is one of the best modern-day cricketers right now, social media is flooded with birthday wishes for the 34-year-old. Check their reactions below:
In 2009 she played her debut match for India against arch-rivals Pakistan and soon she stamped her class in international cricket. Her career graph reached heights after she slammed a century against England at a World Cup match.
She was handed the leadership reigns in April 2013 when Mithali Raj was rested for limited-overs series against Bangladesh. Last year, when Raj announced her decision to retire, Harmanpreet became the full-time India captain across all formats. And now she holds the record of playing the most number of T20I matches (151).
She has started the campaign with the Mumbai Indians on a brilliant note so far. MI are topping the points table chart with two victories in two matches. They opened their campaign against Gujarat Giants at the curtain raiser of the 2023 WPL and secured another win against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday. Yesterday, MI players enjoyed their break by partying during Harmanpreet’s birthday. And now, Harmanpreet Kaur will be seen in action during MI’s next assignment, on Thursday (March 9) against Delhi Capitals.
