The 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) is around the corner, with the first match on March 22 being touted as a blockbuster. The two greats of the game, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni, will be together after a long time as the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be locking horns at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium on the opening day.
And as always, cricket fans from across the world are eagerly waiting to witness some of the most enthralling T20 performances. Notwithstanding the political tension, the IPL is popular in Pakistan as well.
As it’s already known, Pakistani cricketers are banned from taking part in the Indian league after the terror attack in Mumbai. But some cricket fans want the Pakistani star players to play in the IPL.
One such fan on X wrote that it’s a dream for many Indians and Pakistani fans to see former Pakistani captain Babar Azam play alongside Kohli in RCB, Mohammad Rizwan with Dhoni for CSK, and Jasprit Bumrah with Shaheen Afridi in Mumbai Indians jersey. But Harbhajan Singh, the former Indian spinner, doesn’t wish to see this happen. He wrote to the fan that he should stop dreaming about such things.
No Indian hv (have) such dreams .. you guys plz stop dreaming. Wake up now.Singh wrote

Harbhajan Singh Virat Kohli will be lamenting if he doesn’t win a World Cup
Virat Kohli is considered the modern-day great of the game. His stats in all three formats speak for themselves, but now that he is at the twilight of his career, one thing that he needs the most is a World Cup trophy.
Kohli was part of the team that lifted the coveted cup in 2011. He also tasted success when the team became the winner of the 2013 Champions Trophy.
But according to Harbhajan Singh, when Kohli won the two trophies, he wasn’t considered a great of the game. And now that the 35-year-old has become synonymous with cricket, he doesn’t have a World Cup on his side.
He won it when he was not 'Virat' (great). Won the World Cup in his first attempt but that's the funny part about fortune. But from there, Kohli went on to become such a big player but without a World Cup. He played in 2015, 2019, and now 2023 too. But still, the trophy hasn't come, so he would be lamenting it.Singh said on his YouTube channel
Kohli has taken a break from cricket due to the birth of his second child, Akaay Kohli. He will return to cricket when RCB face CSK on the opening day of the IPL.
